@introversion @rgarner @RuthMalan Yeah, they're old for sure😆
When the "new" machines came out the old timers complained about loosing the suds with every load. For awhile there was a "suds-saver" option you could get. It would empty the washer into a separate tank (the soapy water), do its thing rinsing and spin dry. Then reuse the soapy water for the next load...
@idropyou Today's throw-away society is so sad😑
Let us know what you find. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just a loose connection...
@idropyou Yeah, I was afraid of that😑
I haven't kept up with some of the newer offerings. One gets use to knowing what your favorite app can do and the keyboard commands. Unless it disappears or fails to do something you sorely need, there is little reason to change...
@idropyou Use to run that years ago when I was still with Windows. Kinda missed it after moving to Linux, but then I found SciTE. It had tricks I'd never seen before in a text editor🙂
@jwrm22 That does sound like fun👍
Toot an image of your teaching picks afterwards😉
@wplalonde Curious... I tried pasting your text into my text-to-speech utility. Indeed, it read out the unicode for the italics😆
I didn't know this either but it makes perfect sense...
@elliek @tutnich_zursache I usually don't see them till we start having warm/ hot nights. They're due anytime now.
Though if it was Fireflys I'd think they'd be visible much longer time wise...
@elliek @tutnich_zursache Sorry to hear this
Hope things improve for you🤞
I've seen something similar to this with Fireflys. I notice in your image the bright spots are mostly if not all near or on tree branches. Looks like there may be some down lower too. That's if I'm seeing what I think your asking about😆
Several years ago on one of my early morning walks, ~5am... it was warm and windy. I have an area of spread out poplar trees that I mow underneath so they form a protected canopy. The area was ablaze with Fireflys. From head level and up much higher in the trees. I've never seen it again. Suspect it was prime time for their mating activities. The wind was keeping them from the more open areas where I normally see them...
@SensitiveSyl Ouch!
You'll always remember this years adventure in gardening. It varies each year but some are more memorable that others😆
