Where I work, Notepad++ is no longer allowed on any Windows servers. Yeah, it's got issues.

@idropyou Use to run that years ago when I was still with Windows. Kinda missed it after moving to Linux, but then I found SciTE. It had tricks I'd never seen before in a text editor🙂
@lfisk I can only use what's approved by the overlords. :(
VSCode does run on Linux.

I haven't kept up with some of the newer offerings. One gets use to knowing what your favorite app can do and the keyboard commands. Unless it disappears or fails to do something you sorely need, there is little reason to change...
