@Alon@cidney I think contributions to well-chosen campaigns are likely to have a bigger electoral impact per dollar than even very good political nonprofits, since very rich donors can make unlimited donations to nonprofits but campaign contributions per person are capped. (And campaigns get discounted ad pricing and other opportunities to use money in ways nonprofits & even PACs can't.)
@Alon@cidney Notably Lanon Baccam in IA-03 (Des Moines) and Kristen McDonald Rivet in MI-08 (Flint) are in very close races, in (AIUI) cheap TV markets where marginal ad spending might go especially far, and haven't raised that much. But there are other good targets too.
@pony@marenamat Unless the tunnel is super packed, wouldn't it be better to deal with unbalanced demand by running trains from the north thru and turning them at Smichov or Radotin or something? Like Sudkreuz.
@pony@marenamat Would you need to keep Masarykovo n. at all in these plans? Seems like ideally they'd let you close and redevelop it, with the trains all diverted to thru-run via the new tunnel.
@pony Interesting contrast with the US where the most convenient/"comfortable" option (rewards credit cards) is also the most likely to have "zero" (in practice 0% to 0.5%, or -2% to -1.5% after rewards) foreign currency fees.
@wollman A basket of options is worth more than an option on a basket (prices can't go negative but components of a sum can), how does that contradict EMH?
