I have a 2014 ThinkPad. I run a blog with €5/month. Zero cloud.

I read privacy policies so you don't have to.

Last month: an AI had a 24KB psychological profile built from my conversations. Last week: my passport went through 17 US companies just to get a LinkedIn badge. Nobody mentioned that.

That's what I write about. Not paranoia, just what's actually in the documents.

Also their support was amazing, the best one I've seen so far! (I've had some issues with taxes in my country, and StarLabs refunded money I paid them as a taxes)
@starlabssystems You're great! Wish you luck in your business, I'm super glad that someone does Linux laptops and tablets that are this good!

So, I've been using my StarLabs StarLite MK V for a month, what can I say about it: it's great! There were really annoying issues with touchscreen at first, but later they released a coreboot update that fixed it. The keyboard is nice, but usable only on flat surface (as I expected). The pen is pretty good, I'm not an artist, but it feels quite like wacom pen I've tried some time ago. The SOC is good, at least for tasks I do I also liked the screen (I've got 2k version)
