I rarely post on this account, but since it's a serious matter, I will.

Framework Support has been honestly a nuisance to deal with, and in the end they shipped my laptop back to my abusive parents, something I clearly instructed them not to do, since I provided my current home address to them prior to even me shipping the laptop to them for repair.

This leaves me with effectively no choice but to look for other laptops, as this support experience has been detrimental to my mental health from the very start, and now I am also left, effectively, without a laptop and there's no way I can get that one back from my abusive household. It's as good as lost, alongside many other things I left there when I moved out.

This is how Framework treats their customers - someone could say "it was a mistake on their end, chill out" but I don't think they'll make up for it anyway.

My year mark with a Framework 13, support woes, or also how I got so frustrated and exhausted I ended up being non-verbal for almost a day

The state of arm64 assembly support is so bad that godbolt doesn't even support armv8-a clang at all when selecting assembly language, so I can't even demonstrate the issue that I was gonna complain about.

maybe this could be avoided if academic papers came with some sort of short summary. if this were provided by the authors, then we wouldn't need to rely on expensive and unreliable tools to generate them. think how convenient it would be if the authors put these summaries right near the start of the paper!!

I live in the middle of San Francisco. I walk and take public transportation everywhere daily, feeling perfectly safe. And every time someone starts ranting about how scary and dangerous cities are, I nod and smile because I do not want them to come here.

@sidalsolgun

While you may have a point (or maybe not—it is guaranteed that if we move it, someone will not like the new positioning), your disrespectful attitude towards the group of altruistic volunteers giving you stuff for free, to use your own words, is what "sucks ass" here.

We would suggest you learn how to socially interact with other people in a respectful way and then visit this page to learn how you can help yourself while helping KDE:

Update: Elements CEO has denied that this is a general policy, see the new comment.

this is still highly experimental, and nothing should be considered “production ready” yet, but represents a significant amount of progress since the project was announced last month!
