It all makes too much sense. From the standpoint of bored rich fucks for whom nothing is ever enough.

Bomb Iran nuclear sites. Iran wants to close off thr Strait of Hormuz, through which China gets most of their oil. Iran most likely makes an exception for China while we get $10+/gal gas (actual vost lower ofc, oil corpos gotta fatten margins and never let a good crisis go to waste).

Then it becomes "convenient" for 'murika to invade Canada and Greenland for their natural resources, which would just cause more escalation.

Thinking about Berlin and other parts of Germany in 1945, mostly in ruins. Yeah, they became great again by then! /s
