Really like the fact that Friendica groups just appear as another user from a Fediverse perspective.

There is a minor glitch when viewing a Friendica group profile from Akkoma from the look of it. There is an RSS feed icon displayed for the profile in Akkoma, but its invalid from Friendica and gives a 404.

I'll raise an issue on the Akkoma bug tracker (if it hasn't already been raised).

#fediverse question: Does #instance size matter? I know I have to #migrate from #MastodonLol and plan to but I'm pretty stuck up on where to go. There are some smaller instances that I really like but I'm afraid that I might struggle for interactions due to the small size. There are also bigger instances I'm also looking at but I really like #calckey over #mastodon and the big ones are typically #masto. Any #advice is appreciated!

@bitlevel I've installed the Mastodon front end as well as the default Pleroma that is available from the git repo, but I've not made it the default. Can get to it easy enough just by navigating to /web, so will evaluate before making a decision whether to make it the default.

@bitlevel So... as it was a new install of #Pleroma anyway, decided to bite the bullet and move to the #Akkoma fork. Didn't take long. Only thing was, as I am using Ubuntu and supplied Elixir is only 1.12, had to upgrade to 1.13 using asdf.

Seems to be working so far, and Akkoma does have a few bells and whistles that Pleroma doesn't.
