Pretty happy with myself today. Crummy weather meant a treadmill run which sucked my motivation to run. I picked a class with a great playlist and sucked it up and ran. Went from possibly skipping a run today to a PR. And "Running Away" by Hoobastank is an underrated running song.

I've long been a fan of BSides conferences. One of my first security conference talks was at @bsidesclt

Only, it wasn't supposed to be. 10. years ago, I was supposed to make my security conference debut at the very first @BSidesRDU

Fate had other plans as a ladder spill ruptured my achilles and left me in a world of pain. I felt horrible for having to back out, but vowed I would try to return. Life intervened in a number of ways over the years, but on the 10th anniversary of BSides RDU, I'm proud to say I'll finally be speaking there.

My topic is a little different, focusing on what I believe to be the critical gap in CyberSecurity Curriculum in Higher Education.

I'm really looking forward to this!

Was watching a thread on the bird site where Joe Rogan wants Dr. Peter Hotez to debate RFK Jr. on his show. Talk about a complete trap. Reminds me of a scene in The Newsroom when they were talking about their 2.0 launch. Sometimes there aren't two sides to a story. Not worth it.
