I bet the ten-ton porta power will be out, too. Hydraulic fluid under extreme pressure, and fire, a winning combo.
(Remember kids, do not do this at home. Or ANYWHERE. I used to be a professional, and am still more professional than the current batch of "pros". My backyard shop has first aid kits, including trauma kit, eye wash station, fire extinguishers, and shit like that.)

Jeep: LOLOL, and you thought this job wouldn't spiral out of control.
Me: making it rain money on Kaiser-Willys and Napa, while also raining tears on my bank account.
BUT, I can actually get the parts, easily, and for rational cost, for this 43 year old Jeep. Which is a lot more than I can say for the 2018 Chevy pickup and Ford van I've battled recently- those are "it's discontinued" or "it's criminally expensive".

CrAppleCare has really become enshittified. "1-2 days for a replacement", but still not even shipped on day 4.
I was pleasantly surprised by the new thing. I can’t justify shaking enough pennies out of the piggy bank to buy one, but it is a surprisingly nimble thing that still feels kind of like a Ural.
Off for a test ride on the new Ural Neo. The war has destroyed their old business, so they are trying a new path forward.
Fuck. I have to specify which fucking war, don't I? Russian crime against Ukraine.
Everything is horrible. And yet, the bromeliads are happy.
