Tsawwassen ferry terminal is a place I've spent hours and hours at over the years. It's not a good thing, not a bad thing, but the sky is pretty.

Back from vacation in Banff and Jasper, and this little buddy joined us for our 420 gathering under the bridge. The blue stripe is so beautiful.

We mainly saw corvids while we were away, including the cute crows and big ravens we're used to seeing on the island. Magpies were a cool new addition, with their beautiful colours and aerial acrobatics.

Renunculas has been such a happy addition to my balcony. They're producing so many blooms so quickly, and the cut flowers really last in water.

So over the last 24 hours I've been able to take advantage of my two core skills:

- Sleeping anywhere
- Falling asleep in less than a minute

15 hours in the ER taking care of my partner was not a fun time, but all's good now. On the upside, this lil pal decided to feed on the tree ten meters from my balcony.
