I bought a cheap sander attachment for my drill, makes quick work of the slab edges!
I get excited every time I find these “sweetest batch” strawberries at the store, so good!
While I’m sharing woodworking presents, here’s a walnut serving tray for my sister that I’m pretty proud of. First bookmatch (resawed it mostly by hand…I need a bandsaw), and I had fun with the contrasting maple splines.
About to wrap my first end grain cutting board, a gift for my parents. Made with leftover maple flooring from their house, plus a cherry and walnut border, finished with tung oil. Made a LOT of mistakes with this, but overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!
