I break things to see how they (don't?) work | I pass the butter | I sometimes push too much on the boundaries of Poe's law, it's wholly intentional | feed contains #Bulgarian, ะดะฐ ะณะพ ะตะฑะฐ | (ะดะต)ะฑะตะป #ั…ะฐะบะตั€ | !! ะธ โ‰  ะน โ‰  ั !!

might understand what I'm talking about if it's related to #computers (which I tend to profoundly hate). I'm most likely thoroughly #incompetent and just love expressing my #dumb #opinions on any other subject you see me touch.

Lets see if the world breaks if I migrate back to "the same" account I migrated from to here, only it's a completely new box with a clean database.

The holiday season often feels like a minefield for many neurodivergent individuals. Navigating overstimulation, disrupted routines, unspoken expectations, and the pressure to meet social norms; all of this is just so exhausting and overwhelming.

But, thereโ€™s power in acknowledging this. In naming the struggle. In recognizing that itโ€™s not a weakness, but a mismatch between the worldโ€™s expectations and your unique wiring.

@petko ruby is python on shrooms. Some times you get a nice trip, some times you get a bad trip. Most times explaining the experience to other people post factum sounds rather nonsensical. As a whole it could be fun and even eye opening to some extent, but if you do it all the time it will likely do irreparable things to your brain that aren't gonna be great.
@brooke posted this on a work chat last month
@petko I don't know how serious Kainoa was about rewriting firefish in rust, though it seemed like it was actually seriously being considered, but these people actually seem to have some amount of .NET code. Not sure if that's actually a lot of .NET code, but it's definitely some .NET code.
Iceshrimp.NET

This repository contains our efforts to continue the Iceshrimp project's legacy - in the form of an entirely new codebase, with a focus on performance, stability and maintainability.

Iceshrimp development
@petko BTW it's all fun and games until IceShrimp comes up, which is a misskey fork, that's being rewritten in C-FUCKING-SHARP.
@petko and akkoma in ts. And while I'm at it I might as well fork mastodon and rewrite it in java.
@petko so... the way I see it I have two options:
- misskey where the code is typesctipt, which I can understand, but the docs and dev chats are 95% in Japanese
- akkoma, where the docs and chats are all in English, but it's written in elixir...

TBH, I think I still like misskeys more, cause they're shinier. Though I do admit I want to learn erlang and elixir. But I'm gonna stick with trying to run cherrypick by using the vanilla misskey guide, cause folks on discord are saying it should totally work that way. (I know that they're saying that cause I copied their messages from discord into google translate).
Oh, man... vanilla misskey can't do note edits. Now that's just sad.
