So, I did a bit more digging and found that globally, AC contributes more than 3% of all emissions.
I broke it down how that compares to the largest polluters on my blog if anyone's interested. The TL;DR is that power grids need to modernize how we're generating energy to offset the rapid increase in AC adoption.

I'm also skeptical about Ferrari's continued competitiveness, but only time will tell.

Banning Aircon while acknowledging that the world is getting hotter seems like you're punishing citizens for the mess corporations and governments got us into.
Seems to completely ignore the human side to climate change.
