I don’t have much to say but I love learning from all the smart people here. #dutch #coffee #mollymook #CovidIsAirborne #CovidIsNotOver

It’s funny how we’re all different: I love changing times. It feels like life is broken up into different chunks, a bit like when we were in school, rather than just being day after day after day.
Last shower of the morning wipes the shower out with a towel. That seems to keep it dry enough (other people use a squeegee and a cloth to wipe the corners)
Perhaps this is insane but I feel like this only works with a sedan. I have a hatchback and I don’t want people breathing into my car while loading my groceries. Am I overreacting?

every so often i rewatch Tom Holland's lip sync of Umbrella to confirm there's still joy in the world

"I’m genuinely so disappointed and depressed that more of you won’t wear a mask, despite the science, despite disabled & immunocompromised people begging you. I’ll never understand risking your health & the health of others just so you can fit in. It’s so selfish and shortsighted."

@kaffando I use eyebuydirect for frames. I tried getting lenses once but it’s too complicated for my script

🇦🇺 Australia: "Viruses that cause common infections such as COVID, RSV or the flu can also trigger heart attacks and strokes, new research warns."

"A team from the University of Melbourne and Murdoch Research Children’s Institute (MCRI) found the viral respiratory infections were linked to an increased risk of the potentially deadly heart events."

"Inflammation around the time of viral infections temporarily raises the risk of clots in vessels supplying the heart or brain."

And this illustration. It sums it up for me.

The rest of te world rather believes the "cold" lie and lets those 5 people die.

@augieray @kniknik And your posts are much appreciated.
@augieray I was like this for a while because I hoped that if the numbers got bad enough, people would have to pay attention and governments would have to do something. It took me a long time to realise that this wasn’t the case. People and governments have moved on. 😢
