I love the way Trump was quoted here: “In Los Angeles, the governor of California, the mayor of Los Angeles, they’re incompetent and they paid troublemakers, agitators and insurrectionists. They’re engaged in this willful attempt to nullify federal law, and aid the occupation of the city by criminal invaders”, the president said without reference to reality.
I can't remember where I clipped this from, but I love the way they quoted Trump:

Federal judges have generally been knocking down book banning and censorship actions across the country. But it looks like open season for book banning now in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, thanks to the Fifth Circuit (aka the MAGA Circuit):

Calling all Washington State library workers! The Washington State Library is in crisis after the new state budget failed to include needed funds to keep our central library services going. We have already lost federal IMLS grants that have virtually eliminated several library divisions. Now half of the remaining staff may see layoffs. Please contact Governor Ferguson TODAY and ask him to sign 2SHB 1207, a bill which will restore part of our funding.
