The warriors of the Krakenborn are known as the Fianna, and specialise in brutally efficient close combat actions. They eschew the bolter, trusting instead to the short sword and buckler, traditional weapons of their homeworld. Each warrior seeks personal glory, commemorating their kills with painted 'dags' applied to the armour and face. Some even take trophy heads to honour the skill of a slain champion.
