Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the State of the Map US Public Service Scholarship Fund! What generosity! And we still need your help.
Please consider making a contribution to the fund, which will support scholarships for US-based current and recent government employees to attend the conference.

Many government agencies have seen recent reductions in spending, limiting participation in conferences like SOTMUS. Events like ours are critical for building relationships and sharing knowledge. Government partners are valued stakeholders in collaborations for open data. OSM US wants to fill that gap and we need your help! This fund will support scholarships for US-based current and recent government employees to attend State of the Map US 2025 in Boston June 19-21, 2025. When a significant percentage of the revenue goal is raised, OSM US will open the scholarship application. In the event that donations exceed scholarships, unexpended donations will be used to defray the operational costs of SOTM US. Help OpenStreetMap continue to thrive as a key component of the US spatial data infrastructure. Assist us as we maintain crucial networks, strengthen government capabilities, and make a positive impact in the lives of dedicated geospatial professionals. These scholarships will not be possible without funding, so invest in the future of public service today!
Tucson’s Loft Cinema is among dozens of organizations nationwide to lose federal grant money from the National Endowment for the Arts in the past week after the Trump administration set its sights on gutting the agency.
Our team is excited to lead an Earth Foundation Models tutorial workshop at IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Symposium in Brisbane, Australia.
