Did Unity 6 lose the ability to reload shaders when in play mode, or did I somehow mess up a setting somewhere?

So what's a decent minimum SDK to support for Android these days?

I have it set at 26 (which is Android 8), but I'm thinking of bumping it up to 29 (Android 10), or is that crazy talk?

In an uncharacteristic move, Unity seems to have fixed all the light mapping regressions I reported to them, so that’s cool.
Anyone else unable to set Environment Samples in Unity 6 higher than 2048 or is it just me?
