I haven't done a proper introduction yet, so here goes ...
I live in the Seattle area and serve as a volunteer pastor at a non-denominational church in Bellevue, Washington. Our congregation is very international and I've attended the same church since I was a little kid, except for five years I spent helping to plant a church on the East Coast.
I really enjoy mentoring young men and feel that it's the one thing I can do that will have the biggest positive impact on society. I also lead our church's Sunday morning bible study where we slowly make our way through books of the Bible, a few verses each week.
My heroes are people who serve God's people faithfully and without big egos. I believe that one day, everything will be revealed including our hidden motives, and we'll all be surprised at who is first and who is last (meaning who has glory and honor from God).
I've been told that my online personality comes across as mean, but it's not my intent at all.
I'd love to connect with other people who are interested in bible study and theology, social justice, and becoming more holy in our lifestyle, etc.
My day job is product marketing at cybersecurity startups.
Speedboat, overdid, cameos: Those three words were used by special navigation technology to help Waterloo regional police find a woman who was lost at night on a Cambridge, Ont., trail. Now, police are encouraging people to have the app easily accessible.

When you think about your boss, do you have positive or negative emotions? How about when you consider the reality of a hierarchy at your workplace or social institution? In general, do you think that hierarchies and their resulting authority structures are good and helpful, or do you see them as something to be bucked against?
