Y'know, this is 100% how a functioning democratic body should work, except instead of alt-right and more alt-right, it should be ideologically opposed factions that need to come together to form a coalition. Unfortunately the partisan split in the US is so bad that, instead of moving more towards a centrist, moderate coalition, the alt-right of the alt-right effectively get to call the shots on how the chamber is run now.

I like how media conglomerates are making it harder and harder to get content legally. Blu Ray drives are increasingly more locked down, and licensing fees are increasing so no OEM wants to pay for it. So either spend too much money on a Blu Ray disc that may or may not work with your current equipment to rip the media, or just torrent a web rip for free.

It's weird to look at the music industry as a shining example of how to do media distribution correctly. You want a DRM-free lossless audio file? Okkie we sell them on Qobuz or Bandcamp. Have at it.
