Call me cynical, but if this graph were mass shootings at senior home facilities then we'd see a change in public policy.
If this was any one but a US Senator or Congressperson, they'd be indicted for insider trading. Tommy Tuberville isn't righteous, merely self-righteous scum.

Why are Treasuries selling off? This seems relevant. Are they bond vigilantes worried about inflation & debt, hedging currency positions, or just playing momentum?

This is horrific. Much more energy to raise water temp than air, and much longer for it to cool.
This isn't 'core services', but how much inflation is simply that consumption switched to goods during Covid, and then it moved back to services, and suppliers got whiplashed? @delong .

Wholeseller demand from China is falling, and/or they're sourcing from other countries. Either way, a big change.
