@ragectl great insight here. I did all that research when setting up my company’s account—thankfully the infosec/cybersecurity community is pretty welcoming to brands.
@ragectl ha! Big selling point there. And I don’t have to line the pockets for the world’s richest man.
As a social media manager, what should I know about Mastodon that’s different than any other social media platform? #cybersecurity #infosec #security #mastodon

What type of vulnerability or attack vector is endlessly fascinating to you?

Malvertising always captures my attention. It blows my mind that ad platforms like Google Ads don't have better safeguards to prevent malware and imposter ads---and there is little that's done to prevent it! #cybersecurity #security #malware #vulnerability #breach

@Cali You Can Stop Stupid by Ira Winkler is a solid read to get a perspective on an holistic approach in assessing risk and preventing data loss events.

Because humans in security are the most underutilized tool you have, just have to foster a culture of trust and transparency.

@jrdepriest That's super insightful!

We're considering creating a company account at Kolide (where I work) to serve as more than a marketing vehicle.

For us we just want to foster conversation more than advertise our product as much of our Twitter community has vanished over the months. We want to be where our audience is--but being more than an RSS feed is my goal.

We want to provide an editorial lens to everything we do so we can be the difference.

Doing some research--does anyone follow any brands on this instance?

What do you enjoy about them? What makes them stand out from others?

@jerry You've saved me so much time, thanks Jerry!

Any tips I should know for this instance?

@jerry heck yeah!!
