@TruthSandwich Whether anyone agrees or disagrees really isn't the point. SCOTUS can preserve CO's decision within its borders but says nothing about other states especially since each state is responsible for handling elections in any way it sees fit as long as it doesn't conflict with the basic tenets of the US Constitution. What is ok for CO does not at all have meaning for any other state on the face of it. And we'll see that once SCOTUS weighs in.
Cue numbnuts like Peter Baker and the NY Times declaring “Congress is broken” when in reality it’s the Republican party that is utterly broken beyond repair. The Democratic party in Congress is strong, vibrant and still working for the future, the exact opposite of “broken”. Let’s be crystal clear.

@Teri_Kanefield Heather spent her FB hour this week discussing this book and how she wrote it. Basically she described it as based on the Politics Chat she'd conducted on FB and the questions she was asked and responded to as well as the corrections pointed out to her by people who had more expertise than she in a given field from which she learned tremendously over the course of the past 4 years. The talk is archived on her YouTube channel as well.

Thank you Teri. The best I can tell corporations that run the news organizations on tv no longer invest in keeping them viable as objective sources of information but purely as just another set of slots with the capacity for entertainment 24/7.

@washingtonpost Fighting for democracy against foreign adversaries there rather than having to fight them here. It’s a bargain.
