Just to be clear and for those who don't read ToS, im-in.space already has the language that prohibits model training. It was included in the new Mastodon template that we applied in February.

We just released Mastodon 4.3.8 and 4.2.21. They contain a few minor bug fixes and a minor security fix.
If you are running nightly versions, an updated container image is available under the `nightly.2025-05-07-security` tag

It is more important than ever that the social web is not controlled by corporations. Today, Mastodon is taking another step towards its founding ideals: independence and non-profit ownership. We're transferring ownership of key assets to a new European not-for-profit entity, ensuring our mission remains true to a decentralised social web, not corporate control.
Bloggers / newsletter writers take note: in the new Mastodon 4.3 release, if you go to settings > verification, you can now turn on "Author attribution". So when someone posts a link to Cybercultural, I think they now see my Mastodon profile alongside the link. Very cool.
UPDATE: just so everyone is clear, you also need to you need to add a meta tag to your site, like <meta name="fediverse:creator" content="[your mastodon handle]" />. This goes between <head> tags.
