Quick! It's nine in the morning. The Americans are asleep. Let's get in some productive hours without existential dread!

edit, 15:15: so it's now 9:15 in Washington DC. I've quickly checked the news to figure out if he's awake & pooping. Nothing yet so maybe the king is sleeping in?

I'm especially happy with our selections this year, and proud to put the spotlight on the excellent work of indie developers. And Jonathan’s review conclusion really puts a cherry on top! Means a lot to us to hear ☺️🫶🏻

When we worked on the Liquid Glass redesign over the summer, we were wondering whether we got it right and whether people would like the new look and feel. There’s always the danger that long-term users aren’t happy with big redesigns – I mean, we all tend to be creatures of habit.

But the feedback was consistently positive!

Oh wow, thanks @jonathanreed for your kind words about @focus!

It’s an honor to appear alongside these other great apps on MacStories and really cool to see our work appreciated.

Wading Back Into the Liquid Glass Pool: The MacStories OS 26 App Roundup Continued

Last month, we featured 15 great examples of apps that have adopted Apple’s Liquid Glass design language and latest APIs. Today, the MacStories team is sharing nine more of our favorite updates that take advantage of Apple’s latest technologies. We’ll have additional coverage in the weeks ahead, but for now, let’s dive into even more...

We covered more excellent third-party apps that have implemented Liquid Glass at @macstories.

This was a team effort, and there are some really strong picks here:

Here’s a friendly reminder that now’s as great a time as ever to leave a kind review for a few (indie) apps you love. Most developers worked very hard over the summer to make sure they were ready this week. A review goes a long way, not only in helping visibility for the app, but also because it’s just a great thing to receive.

So happy to see our work featured in the App Store! ☺️

This has been a really busy summer! We carefully redesigned every part of the app. As a small team, it was quite a ride to get everything ready on day one.

That’s why I’m all the more grateful for the App Store team’s support 🫶🏻
