Ich bin immer noch neugierig, will wissen, wie etwas funktioniert, freue mich über Erfolge. Ich will reisen, Gemüse anbauen und Zeit mit Menschen verbringen, die mir gut tun. Ich will Einfluss nehmen, wo ich kann und meine Energie nicht an Dinge verschwenden, die ich nicht beeinflussen kann. Ich lebe gern.

@iwein Sparassis crispa on (mostly) pine, but its a parasite, will not grow on already dead trees and will not kill the tree soon, either. Otherwise Hypholoma capnoides, but that one is a decomposer on already dead conifer wood.

This slop graphic went #viral in my timeline on Mastodon. Commentators found the source in a FB slop page, and biologists in the comments tell the facts. Nevertheless, people burst into enthusiasm, so little do they know about nature. #AISlop sites on big platforms gather about 250k followers.

Ich war tanzen. Es gab einen balfolk abend an der Uni. Es war soooo schön! Vielleicht sollte ich das einrichten das regelmäßig machen zu können. Es gibt immer dienstags eine balfolkgruppe.

I can’t remember where I saw it, but I feel like today is a good time to revisit the concept of “Vegan + bacon”.

People often avoid making small positive changes because they get caught up in trying to go all the way. For example, “I could never go vegan. I love bacon too much”.

So then go vegan plus bacon. Or vegetarian plus bacon. Or just switch to oat milk and eat more vegetables. Whatever small change you can make is good
