I live in a "mixed-use" neighborhood in Rochester, New York, which means it's a little bit industrial and a little bit residential. They used to be a really cool single story brick building that ran the length of the block. Half of it burned down, so it looks a bit like a wasteland now... But my front garden still fights on. It's mostly dormant right now, but there are signs of life. The birds have not entirely finished eating the coneflower seeds. The lichens are gorgeous. The yarrow and daisies are peeping through. Life soldiers on. Wait until you see the garden in a month or two!
The building directly across the street from my house burned down and it was terrifying. 6 months later though we got this cool mural.
Lay lines. (The blue carpet is heated. Best money I ever spent.)
First day of Spring in western New York state and there's a bone chilling rain falling outside... But Miss Elsie is warm and dry and snoring, fast asleep on her big feather pillow. 😍
Office Jungle (I am blessed to be able to bring such greenery into my underground office.)
When the most elusive cat finally uses the bed you got her... 😍
Determined to make oatmeal exciting. Today I threw in candied lemon peel, blob of Turkish pistachio cream, and some toasted salted pumpkin seeds.
Anyone else running a cat farm? After too many times spending $8 on a half-dead cat grass from Petco, I invested in three small ceramic planters, a bag of cactus mix, and a bag of cat grass seeds (they are a mixture of wheatgrass and oat). I rotate through the three of them, and the cats are over the moon happy :)
Funny that Bad Bunny showed up on the Punjabi Hits station :D
