I'm struggling to decide what device to buy to flash Graphene.
Today, and only today (11/11), there's an offer for the Pixel 8 for 623€ (175€ difference here that it usually costs 800€), and the 7a is on sale for black friday for 459€ (out of 509€).
I need that is lasts at least 5 years for my uni degree. What would you recommend? I'm price sensitive so I can't afford something more expensive than 620€ (and even this is a lot for me).

Now that's been almost one month since the 8 released, I've been looking for the best deals and in some sites they offer the Japan/Taiwan/US version cheaper. I'm from the EU. Would I be able to unlock the bootloader and flash Graphene?
Also some network/telephony providers here in the EU also offer it but same price. Can the devices they offer be vendor-locked and not unlockable?
