@vga256 Agree 100%. Also for the longest time I assumed JSTOR used the fees it charges to pay reviewers! Imagine my surprise when I learned almost all reviews are unpaid labor. đĄ

@sue I thought âCult, a Love Storyâ by Alexandra Amor was really interesting! The author talks about her own experience getting sucked into a cult & then getting out of it.
I hadnât thought about the question of how it relates to coercion in my own life. But the author e.g. talks about the cult leader taking advantage of her own spiritual experiences and by saying âyes, that just confirms what I was already telling you.â

@clacke 200ms â 60ms! It feels a lot better! I still wish it were faster. Also I donât write Python for work these days so I am not sure whether there are compatibility issues, but for the local Python scripts I have micromamba works fine!
@clacke If heat retention is what youâre going for, I have an enameled cast iron Dutch oven that works OK! It is indeed super heavy though. Donât know of any which only have cast iron on the bottom unfortunatelyâŠ
