@JesseF8693 @blindbat84 I've got issues with some of the NFB's philosophies and personally wouldn't recommend one of their programs, but I wouldn't be where I am today if not for the program I did attend after losing my sight.

@blindbat84 They were one of those things that grew on me as I got older. You'd think, growing up in Texas, that I'd always have liked them but not so much.

@blindbat84 Tamales are so good. Community college I used to work at did tamale-making classes around Christmas every year. During COVID they changed it up and did meal kits with all the ingredients to make your own along with videos and a Zoom session for questions. It was a ton of work, but really enjoyed the experience.
