Oh so as an aside, I've been doing all of this intensive reading and research on cults lately, for fun...

One of the hallmarks of a cult is to identify enemies and then assume everything they say or do has an evil motivation.

So my personal essay on covid is really mild and personal! But her and her people just read something else totally.

None of her supporters said one word. They allowed their "queen" hero of the socialist-activists accuse someone of "white privilege" for wanting to stay alive in a pandemic. And I know her supporters. I know they fear Covid. But cults, right?

So this was..... well, sometimes you hit bottom with a group and it's like catching your breath.

Okay so back to the asshole that is the de facto leader of this activist community.

I should have clarified that she's not considered an asshole. She's considered a queen, a goddess, a perfect person.

So she reads my personal essay about friendships that fell apart due to talking about masks....

And, on twitter, she quote tweets it and calls it "subliminal manipulation" and accuses me of "white privilege" for wanting people to wear masks!!!! And of policing people.

This organization had really sold themselves to me and other disabled people as all about us. Then they were doing these super spreader events!

Okay, so I tweeted something about the events (private advocacy didn't work), got some brutal backlash from someone I considered a friend of sorts, and wrote a personal essay.

It was super general essay, no names, about a year of "friends lost to Covid" - meaning not died but who freaked out when I addressed masks/disability... 3/

Okay so I was pretty angry last year, being immune compromised with Long Covid and seeing all these so-called leftists not only stop wearing masks but get mean about it.

This one organization, part of that community with the asshole cult leader, was holding events without mask mandates, while claiming to care about the disabled on their website. Okay? You see where this is going.

I had tried advocating privately. It wasn't just me who was upset... 2/
