If you've used #Spotify on #GNOME lately, you've likely become familiar with its jarring blue title bar. This will likely go away soon thanks to Athul Iddya, who has worked on improving Chromium's Wayland integration for non-browser windows:

#Wayland #Chromium

Ubuntu based #bootc, composefs and systemd-boot image running on bare-metal.

Using all the same cool tools #bluefin uses.

JumpyVi is iterating on the Bluefin developer mode. #incus support is going to slay out on this one!

#linux

Framework listens to their audience so much that they send another pre-release laptop to DHH.

Started on this launcher thing a while ago but haven't worked on it much since. Is there a need/desire for something like this? Any suggestions on where to go with it? Thanks

Using #bootc install-to-existing-root you can now "rebase" from any classic distro to an image based OS like the ones from #UniversalBlue or #BootCrew !

----

I used EndeavourOS as a base to easily switch to arch-boot, Bluefin's Egg and many others with no issues!
All you need is bootc, podman and systemd-boot!

We're also working on a pure buildstream build of Bluefin, here it is running in QEMU:

hec showed up (new contributor!) and made some fixes to dakotaraptor, we were able to successfully rebase a fedora silverblue installation to Bluefin.

We're almost to the point where you'll be able to dogfood a daily #gnome os based Bluefin.

And holy smokes there's an official Flatpak version https://github.com/BanjoRecomp/BanjoRecomp/releases/tag/v1.0.0
