When you're talking about Linux, it's okay to say that it's "open source".
It's okay to say that it's "free software".
It's okay to call it "GNU/Linux", "Linux", or to mess up its name.
It's okay to refer to it as "the one with the friendly penguin".
Part of RMS' legacy has been an incessant obsession with terminology and pedantry, overshadowing far more important shared objectives which are fundamentally emancipatory in nature.

Asylum is legal immigration.
There's no "port of entry" requirement.
There's no "visa" requirement.
There's no "first country" requirement.
You enter the United States, and you apply for asylum.
Because asylum is legal immigration. Period.
Period.
This claim is false.
Law enforcement has the ability to get stored communications from companies like Twitter under 18 USC 2703(d). This is a famous "d-order" that has to be signed by a judge.
Companies can demand reimbursement under 2706. You can argue that 2703 should have a higher standard, but if the government can get to user data should it be free or should the companies ask for a nominal cost?
This is absolutely nothing to do with content moderation.
