Fun Fact: I've circumnavigated the globe, which is really easy to do at South Pole station...just walk in a circle at just the right spot.

million dollar idea...
ChatGPT dinner party series... all recipes all ChatGPT provided..and something you've never eaten before...and everyone participating must try all items.

@vwbusguy to make her feel more comfortable you should have just charged her a dollar for your door opening service. By walking through the open door you were holding was an implicit agreement to the terms of service she didn't read.

Okay so once again Alaska leg will not pass a budget during regular session.

We the voters who care need to start requiring the candidates to affirm they will pass a budget during regular session. Right now we complain about it..but we don't make candidates promise to do it.
So let's fix that.
If we can elect a majority of senators and reps that will affirm as a campaign promise to pass a budget by end of session..then we can start getting budgets by end of session...and not before.

Okay I've been kicking this idea around for a little bit, but I'm finally going to do it. I'm going to try to do a virtual eBPF study group thing, basically, select an eBPF academic journal paper, read over it and then meet and discuss it with other people over video who have also read it. Anyone tentatively interested?
@dneary
The ice is too slow... a common refrain heard across the land...not dissimilar to software service users.
@dneary they literally make and maintain the ice surface....which is effectively a commons for all the curlers.
We both love and hate the ice crews..based on the quality of the ice.

I fnally found the curling/ open source analogy that works!

Curling ice crews are analogous toopen source project maintainers.
