Senator Chris Murphy confirms that Pam Bondi is offering to withdraw ICE from Minneapolis.
She just wants one small thing in return…
The state’s voter database.
That’s right.
This was never about immigration, crime or making America safer.
There’s a reason you don’t see ICE occupying red states.
It’s about punishing blue states and ensuring he “wins” the next election.
"[Pictures of Liam used as bait by ICE] make plain the sheer sadism of ICE and their agenda, the smallness, cowardice and moral degeneracy of people who would arm themselves to the teeth and cover their faces in order to attack a child not yet big enough to tie his own shoes."

I remember the murder of Martin Luther King Jr., of course. I was a senior in high school when it happened. A senior in a small (some 25,000) but very wealthy oil town in south Arkansas, in a deep-South part of the state near the Louisiana border…. My father was a Louisianan whose parents moved to south Arkansas during the oil boom to find good-paying jobs.

#ICE kidnapped four members of the Oglala Sioux Nation and is trying to hold them hostage to force the Sioux to work with #DHS. Working on tribal land would give them legal impunity, so they've been trying to bribe or force Native tribes to work with them across the country. The natives are standing strong-- they don't take bribes and don't negotiate with terrorists.
We need more leaders in Congress who understand the assignment like this.

The myth that a bunch of young hackers can solve any problem was debunked by DOGE. But the larger moral stain is that this was a heist.
Cost saving was a cover story to shutdown investigations into Elon’s companies, steal government data and engage in genocide by proxy via killing USAID.
Memory Integrity Enforcement is the culmination of a truly incredible amount of work :)
While there's so much to love, one of my favorite pieces was getting to bring kalloc_type-style isolation to out-of-bounds accesses on both the architectural and speculative path. This lets us both mitigate a variety of Spectre v1 style attacks and break the reliable exploitation of some of the most powerful first-order memory corruption primitives (arb offset OOB R/W).

Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE) is the culmination of an unprecedented design and engineering effort spanning half a decade that combines the unique strengths of Apple silicon hardware with our advanced operating system security to provide industry-first, always-on memory safety protection across our devices — without compromising our best-in-class device performance. We believe Memory Integrity Enforcement represents the most significant upgrade to memory safety in the history of consumer operating systems.
Must-read report from NPR, showing once again that DOGE is a massive threat to the cyber/national security of the United States:
"In the first days of March, a team of advisers from President Trump's new Department of Government Efficiency initiative arrived at the Southeast Washington, D.C., headquarters of the National Labor Relations Board.
The small, independent federal agency investigates and adjudicates complaints about unfair labor practices. It stores reams of potentially sensitive data, from confidential information about employees who want to form unions to proprietary business information.
The DOGE employees, who are effectively led by White House adviser and billionaire tech CEO Elon Musk, appeared to have their sights set on accessing the NLRB's internal systems. They've said their unit's overall mission is to review agency data for compliance with the new administration's policies and to cut costs and maximize efficiency."
"But according to an official whistleblower disclosure shared with Congress and other federal overseers that was obtained by NPR, subsequent interviews with the whistleblower and records of internal communications, technical staff members were alarmed about what DOGE engineers did when they were granted access, particularly when those staffers noticed a spike in data leaving the agency. It's possible that the data included sensitive information on unions, ongoing legal cases and corporate secrets — data that four labor law experts tell NPR should almost never leave the NLRB and that has nothing to do with making the government more efficient or cutting spending."
"Meanwhile, according to the disclosure and records of internal communications, members of the DOGE team asked that their activities not be logged on the system and then appeared to try to cover their tracks behind them, turning off monitoring tools and manually deleting records of their access — evasive behavior that several cybersecurity experts interviewed by NPR compared to what criminal or state-sponsored hackers might do."
"The employees grew concerned that the NLRB's confidential data could be exposed, particularly after they started detecting suspicious log-in attempts from an IP address in Russia, according to the disclosure. Eventually, the disclosure continued, the IT department launched a formal review of what it deemed a serious, ongoing security breach or potentially illegal removal of personally identifiable information. The whistleblower believes that the suspicious activity warrants further investigation by agencies with more resources, like the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency or the FBI."

We collaborated with content moderators like Fasica to understand the horrific working conditions of moderators.
Imagine your family going through one of the worst sieges in recorded history with nothing going in & out for 2 years, and the longest continuous internet shutdown ever recorded, and moderating genocidal content targeting your people. One of the moderators saw his cousin being murdered because that was a video routed to him. He wasn’t even allowed to take a short mental health break.
🗣️🗣️🗣️ Announcing new work from DAIR which is very close to my heart, 3 years in the making.
When #TigrayGenocide, the deadliest genocide of the 21st century thus far, started in November 2020, it was 1 month before I got fired from Google. Unlike Tigrayans whose sisters were being raped & parents murdered, I didn’t know exactly what was happening on the ground & who to believe. But I saw the genocidal speech targeting Tigrayans on social media, particularly from Eritreans, in Tigrinya. 🧵
