@9to5Mac starting to think this DMA thing in the EU is actually kind of a bad idea after all. hmm.

Love when a random stumble gets me somewhere like this:

@9to5Mac With the EU's DMA stuff going on, I can't say this is a huge surprise.
These cookie banners are really getting wild. :O
@Cdespinosa Over the years, I've heard stories of how Apple rode out the big quake on October 17, 1989. I knew that De Anza 3 suffered some of the worst damage and took over a year to rebuild. (The Infinite Loop campus was yet to be built at this point.) Here's a story I hadn't heard before, told by Owen Rubin. https://www.mymac.com/inside-apple-for-the-1989-earthquake/

@quux I have an iMac G4 that I use every so often for some old games that I still enjoy.
@flexion I loved the case design for that era of SGI hardware! We had a ton of it at Netscape and I am now kicking myself for not making off with some of it when I left. :)

I warned you.

AI, LLM, whatever. I know there are some strong opinions about it, and mine is yet another one. Going to admit it - I have been having fun with them. Years ago when I was a full time sysadmin I'd learn a bunch of stuff and forget it 2 days later. Probably the head injury as a child, but whatever. ChatGPT/etc have been FUN for me to use. I've been re-learning shell scripting and having a blast. it's interactive and engaging.
I've really enjoyed them so far.

Have any of you ever set up automx2 from the developer's docs *and* gotten it to work with Apple Mail? That's the last stumbling block I have today. It's working with the others.
