1. Utilitarian, whatever works.
2. Basic services: housing, food, buying power for the working class.
3. A populist, left-leaning centrist party that aims for 60%+ consensus.
4. Aiming for consensus leaves some ethical issues on the sidelines.
5. What is possible is considered with higher priority than what is ideal.
6. If the evidence shows a program isn't working, move on.
7. Statespersons, constantly focused on the actual and coalition building instead of idealism.

Hi everyone! I’m Joshua and this is my #introduction! I’m new to Babka and Mastodon in general, but am looking forward to getting to meet you. I’m from #Ohio and I’m really into #videogames, #AI, and #futurism. Looking forward to making new friends on the platform. I am a long-time user of Facebook, Twitter and a couple of other failed social media networks. Migrating due to heavy-handed censorship coming from new Twitter owners.

Before I became disabled I graduated with a BS in biotechnology and finished two years of coursework towards a graduate degree in computational genomics. I've worked for about 14 years in the biological sciences including wetland science work as a consultant for the DOT and have been studying IT, Networking, AI and Web Development since I became permanently disability in 2017.

I'm halachically a Jewish convert (both reform and conservative) but I started this process due to genealogy showing I have Jewish heritage from Prussian immigrants. Also bi/poly.
