@jewwhohasitall I am seeing a lot of municipalities trying to be inclusive by placing Krissmass (sp?) trees as decorations in public areas. However, they are placing open boxes under the tree to represent the ritual opening of gifts. According to my Christian friend, this looks strange because the gifts are only opened on the holiday itself. Respectful depictions should either use closed boxes or you can omit the boxes altogether.

No, bigotry and fascistic attitudes *don't* just die out, they must be actively fought and defeated on an ongoing basis.
Because sometimes we make the mistake of thinking "Oh, the youth must not be bigoted like their forebears" but guess what.
If that were true we wouldn't have had the tiki torches or the terf explosion.
