@jezra welp...that didn't go as well as I hoped. Kinda damaged the brushes then couldn't get it back together. New starter on the way. It was worth a shot!
@jezra well the Vespa is 2004 and I'm assuming the starter is original, so 18 to 19 yrs old.
@jezra ima take it apart and clean everything this afternoon. I've watched 2 YT vids and it looks like something I can do.
Oh starter motor, are you the reason my Vespa won't start? Let's work it out this afternoon.

@[email protected] I also found out you can buy your own ssd and ram elsewhere and buy the laptop without them, saving quite a bit of money. It's a wonderful machine for people who like to upgrade and repair themselves.
