criticism of these ridiculous trash cans were the reason I was blocked from engaging further with Gil Cedillo's Twitter and Facebook accounts years ago. I knew at the time these were the wrong application of technology to problems that have always been solved in a simpler way. As Eunisses Hernandez is about to take over the #LACD1 office this is what she's left with in Highland Park. Solar powered trash cans missing their solar panels. A complete lack of dignity for people's needs.
