@jeffjarvis in the 2022 midterms, he sealed his own fate. It was apparent there were several extremely republican leaning pollsters who were pushing out polls favorable to the Republicans, indicating a red wave. There were articles about it. Silver denied it was true and included those in his model. Then, when the red wave didn’t happen, he defended his model and his selection of bad pollsters, like it didn’t happen. Thin-skinned and wrong is where he ended up.

@pbump for those commenting on this thread that Mr. bump is wrong, you need to read the chart again. Disregard whether it’s Republicans, Democrats or independents. Just look at the totals. More people think that being called woke is an insult than not, and even Republicans understand that being called woke means you a person is more enlightened about social policies. They just don’t like it.
