I was interviewed along with a slew of experts for this piece in TheStreet about AI art and human creativity — talking a bit about the creative process and what we lose when machines take us straight to the finished product, instead of engaging with our own limits and capacities to define ideas on our own terms.

In short: when we define creativity as a product, not a process, we lose much of what makes art personal — and “human.”
