@deviantollam Well, we do need traffic enforcement, certainly around here. The lack of it is already manifesting itself in drivers who basically violate every tenent of safe driving there is.

@deviantollam Far-UV seems to be the most likely candidate for whole-room disinfection, but it's still in its infancy and expensive. Upper-air UVC doesn't circulate efficiently enough to provide effective disinfection for the space below - which is the problem for most human-involved disinfection technologies. Nothing else will even start to clean the space between you and the infected person as they exhale and before you breathe in.

@matthew_d_green Active volcanos aren't always erupting; active simply means "not extinct". Yellowstone, for example, is an active volcano, though I wouldn't consider passwords stored in it's massive caldera (i.e. most of the park!) to be secure.

But yeah, I get the sentiment.
