In about 60 hours, we will be opening a discord server for disabled people. We will make it as accessible as possible for all types of disabilities. The server will be a place primarily for talking with other people with disabilities but we'll also highlight disability news, products and services from disabled people and more. I'm a disabled writer and I'm writing a story about disabled people. One person is a double legs amputee and in addition to using a wheelchair and occasionally prosthetics, often uses their hands to get around on the ground. I've tried a couple words in previous drafts. "Walk" caused too much confusion when I used it in a screenplay recently and I don't want to use "crawl" as disabled people are infantalised too much already. Any suggestions?
