🚢 It’s official - Arcol is available for everyone to try! 🚢 Our industry is one of the most collaborative in the world. Yet for the last decade, the tools we use to design buildings have stayed largely the same: ❌ Single-player ❌ Desktop-based ❌ Disconnected from the reality of how teams actually work today We founded Arcol with a simple vision: ✅ What if design tools were built with real-time collaboration at their core? ✅ What if they lived in the browser, integrated your data, and connected owners, contractors, and design teams in a shared environment so they could actually collaborate, not coordinate? That’s what we’ve launched today 🔥 Today, our product is focused on the earliest stages of feasibility, when decisions are most fluid and collaboration matters most. It's a space where risk gets defined and if you can collaborate better here, you will reduce that risk from the start. If you're in the AEC space, we’d love for you to try it out, give us feedback, and help shape the future of Arcol and our industry 🏗️ Sign up for a free trial today https://www.arcol.io/ Let’s rethink what’s possible - together ❤️ #arcol #retoolingaec #aec #architecture | 14 comments on LinkedIn

Collaborative building design technology for modern teams

Arcol is building design for modern teams. Model in 3D, get real time metrics on your buildings and collaborate without needing to sync or save.

Exciting day at work today. We're publicly launching the tool i've been working on. It's a modern CAD tool, in the browser, built with Rust and Typescript.
Neat presentation about the website redesign that Fuzzco did for Arcol (where I'm working these days): https://fuzzco.com/work/arcol/ I really like how the final site turned out https://www.arcol.io/

Idea up for grabs: accessibility lib.
A library you can link into your game that provides a standardized interface to make your game more accessible to players.
Things like a python interface that allows the variety of accessibility devices to be used as input. Post processing color grading options for color vision differences. Etc.
Completely opt in to use a library like this obviously, but if your intent is to make your game accessible, this is an easy way to do it.
Excited for the launch of Able to Play, an initiative my studio is behind and a powerful (and much needed) idea: https://www.abletoplay.com
