AB 3048 would require Google to offer a setting in Chrome to support the Global Privacy Control signal. Google’s opposition to the most minor of privacy rules is telling and unfortunate. This should get more attention.
Starting today I'll be working on public policy for DuckDuckGo. I am excited to get back to policyland on the side of a company dedicated to building a more private internet, but as I've been away for a bit, I hope this announcement also can serve as an open request for coffees and catching up!
