More non-work... A few weeks ago during our "fall break" I competed in the aquabike (triathlon without the run) World Championships, finishing 9th in my age group, and first US finisher. Great swim, weird bike course. Pleased with my effort. https://triathlon.org/results/result/2024_world_triathlon_age_group_aquabike_championships_torremolinos/635501

Wow. I haven't been here in a minute! Back for a bleg.

Any chance someone has a (clean) pdf copy of Chapter 6 ("Analysis of Data") from Weiss's _Learning from Strangers_ that you'd be willing to share?

Yeah, I might finally fully give up on trying to make Windows work in my life. Forever I have had Mac, Windows, and Android based devices, but the all-too-frequent non-functionality of Microsoft is just getting unbearable.

Drowning in a sea of red tape.
The amount of time I spend convincing people that I've already tried the steps they are telling me to try is going to drive me completely nuts.

I know I've mentioned this before, but editors *really* need to work with their automated systems to adjust it, so I'm repeating myself. I do not need a review invitation sent/received on a Friday afternoon to be followed by a "Why haven't you replied to our request yet?" reminder on Monday morning. This is reflecting all the wrong assumptions about how available/always on we expect each other to be.
