@Popehat Your IT team shouldn’t accept email from your domain name if it’s coming from the internet. It’s also common to flag all emails from external sources as such.
@bryanhansel Thanks Bryan. Usually I can identify legit prominent accounts just by the activity, but the lack of verification does mean you have to read a little more critically. It’s a little like the day anyone could sign up for Twitter Blue using any display name!
Which Aaron Rupar account is the “official” one? Searching on his name turns up three accounts. Are there verified accounts on Mastodon, and can that account be trusted?
