Late Archaic to Mississippian period Site 22PR533 in southern Mississippi had many fired clay features consisting of crudely shaped cooking balls & clay hearth fragments. Left is a level bag with both, including 2 pieces of rolled clay, 1 with a finger indention. Right are the 2 in situ in a 50x50cm unit. The other 3 quadrants were opened & taken down to expose the rest of the feature.

@QasimRashid Before retiring in 2010 I worked on continuous emission analyzers. When working on a co2 analyzer I could read ambient air. I never saw co2 at 400 PPM or above. Now you don't see below 400. Either fossil fuels are making things worse or George Soros is burning money in open pits. #climatechange #ClimateCrisis #environment #Science
