Tech tip for you iPhone users who update to iOS 17 and use messages:

They changed how the messages app list works. I found the new interface is easier to get to some apps but harder for others.

If you want a quick way to add a picture, it can now be done quickly (Thanks @9to5Mac)

Just long-press on the new “+” icon next to where you type your message, and the Photos interface will automatically appear. No need to access the new full-screen app picker interface whatsoever.

Tried out self hosting for a couple weeks. Turns out a server with one user on it, can be a bit quiet with the small level of federation I have between followers and following. Liked the control but not worth the monthly charge.

I did a practice run of a leadership talk today in preparation for my team's capstone of IPMA's LeaderPath. Great feedback from those in attendance. Three more weeks, and it's showtime for real.
